I completed three in this series of fables, “making use of a storytelling device known as anthropomorphism, which is the attribution of human traits and behaviors to non-human animals”. I have about six more ideas, when I decide to return to this series.
I used elements from infamous landmarks in San Antonio to place in the background and a variety of plants with special meanings.
The crow is sitting on top of a section of the Rose window at one of our missions. The monkshood flower is meant to warn others of a foes nearby.

The gargoyle is from the Emily Morgan hotel in San Antonio. The begonia symbolizes warning or caution.

The stain glass behind the rabbit is from the Little Church of La Villita.. Hopefully, the wisteria will offer our friend some wisdom to realize her freedom.
